Vestry – our annual general meeting of parishioners – was held on Sunday 22 February in Tomkins Hall. Preceded by lunch, this is essentially the business meeting of the parish. We elected representatives two Wardens (with two more appointed by Father Ross), Synod representatives, Parish Council members-at-large, and many others. We discussed our financial position, accepting the report and the budget for 2015. Father Ross reminded us that we have a worldwide connection, not only just with Anglicans, or indeed only with Christians, but with people of faith everywhere.

Father Ross also spoke about parishioners – be they regular, frequent attendees or those who attend only occasionally: all are part of the Saint James family.
In addition Father Ross recognized the enthusiastic and selfless work of Heather Brophy in helping to organize and run many parish events. As well, he recognized the hospitality and fellowship of the Craft Group, headed by Helen Logan.
