St. James Anglican Church
1138 Bridge Street,

Post concert reception included in ticket price.

Orpheus Choral Group is associated with the Ottawa-based Orpheus Musical Theatre Society, which is North America’s longest-running organization of its kind. OMTS has been entertaining Ottawa theatre audiences with musical performances of all kinds since 1906.

The Choral Group’s role is to take music out into the community. Over the years, the Choral Group’s main performance venues have been service club functions, church and public concerts, seniors’ residences and hospitals, and worthwhile community and charity fund-raising events such as its performance at St. James Anglican Church, on Tuesday, May 20 for the Manotick Karen Refugee Sponsorship Program.

The May 20th concert at 7:30 p.m. is entitled “The Beatles to Broadway,” and will feature 90 minutes of music and a sing-along of familiar tunes from our own songbooks. (The group expects its audiences to work during its shows!)

The 65 singers are led by director, Anne Axworthy and accompanist, Joyce King.

Tickets at $15 are  available from Church Office (692 – 2082) or Joan 692-2900 or Joy 692-6486 or stjames.eventbrite.ca or at the Door.
