Drug Overdose Prevention and Naloxone Training Workshop:
Takes place at 7pm, Thursday, June 15th at Good Shepherd Church, Barrhaven.
This workshop is for youth, parents, and all concerned residents of Barrhaven and Manotick. It provides an opportunity to learn the signs and symptoms of overdoses, share information, foster relationships, decrease stigma, and be trained in the use of Naloxone. All participants will learn about naloxone, which temporarily reverses the effect of opioids on the brain.

The workshop is free but participants must pre-register by June 12. Please fill out the form below to register electronically, or call Good Shepherd at 613-823-8118 to register by phone. Your Health Card number and Date of Birth are required in order to receive a Naloxone Kit provided for free by the Ministry of Health. This information will not be kept by the church or on our website.
If you do not wish to provide your Health Card information, you can pick up your Naloxone kit at a later date.
