Church School

The mission of the Church School is to provide the children of St. James aged 3-11 with an excellent opportunity for education in the Word of God, and the stories of the Bible in a joyful and inclusive environment. The school is offered during the 10:00 service with children having a short chat with the rector at the altar, processing out for classes, and returning to the sanctuary for the Eucharist with their families.

We believe that parents are the primary Christian educators of their children and are encouraged to participate along with other loving adults who have taken on roles as volunteer teachers.

We are very excited to be using the Spark Curriculum http://spark.wearesparkhouse.org/ this year.  It is a fabulous hands on curriculum that we know the children will enjoy very much.

MOTHER’S DAY BRUNCH – CANCELLED

The F.A.I.T.H. youth group regrets that the Mother’s Day and Family Friendly Lunch scheduled to take place this Sunday May 13 has been cancelled.

If you purchased tickets for this CLAY 2012 fundraiser please see Chrisann after the service on Sunday to have your money refunded.  We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience.
